It’s almost upon us: the Rogue24 (and Rogue8) entries will open via the QRA website this Friday the 16th.  Now the biggest 24hr adventure race on the Australian calendar, entry numbers are capped for both the 8hr and 24hr event.  Interest in the race has already been expressed by teams as far away as interstate, Singapore and New Zealand.  With XPD returning to QLD in August, many teams are using the Rogue24 as a key race for their expedition preparation.

In an exciting addition to the race, after extensive consultation with QLD Parks and Wildlife Rangers and Pinnacle Sport, the 24hr course will now also include an optional abseil.  All will be revealed on race day, but teams looking to pick up some extra points should be prepared to step off a big cliff.

Full details about the race including location, timings, gear list and logistics can be found on the Adventuregaine section of the Rogue Adventure website.  Photos from scouting trips on the course can be found here.  To tide you over in the interim, take a look back over last year’s race course with this short highlight clip.

See you in April!
