A Big Year Planned for Team Rogue

Dan and Ali McLachlan

So 2018 is well and truly upon us and I’m excited to announce the Rogue Adventure team has a big year of racing planned ahead.  The team will be joining a swag of the countries’ top AR teams to chase the Adventure1 series, we’ll also be competing in Australia’s longest running adventure race at GeoQuest and team members will be putting in individual efforts at a number of premier events including GODZone and the Australasian Rogaine Championships.

Long time team captain will be joined by Port Macquarie couples Chris and Michelle Delaney and Dan and Ali McLachlan to form the core squad.  With a rotating roster to cover us for all the big races, the team is aiming for competitive results while looking forward to exploring some new Australian back country.  Discover all the details on the team HERE.

The preliminary team rosters will be as follows:

I suspect 2018 will see Adventure Racing taken to a new level on the Australian domestic scene, so it’s exciting to be a part of this trend.  With 10 kids under the age of 10 between the current 6 team members, training and racing will always be a logistical juggle, however the chance to compete and explore the Australian back country is an exciting driver for the team.

Keep an eye out soon for the regular A1 Predictions Blog for X-Marathon.
